Do Mutual Fund Managers Have an Inherent Conflict of Interest
Mutual fund managers may have a conflict of interest because of the way they are paid. In particular, mutual fund managers are encouraged to make risky investments that are not in the interests of unit holders, and to over-concentrate their holdings.
